WoF Fanfic: Flesh and Blood- Chapter 04PoV: Cerise
Cerise’s talons scraped furiously against the floor, drilling repetitively into the brown rock. She glared at the trio of idiots who dare insult her with their presence. She scoffed at the MudWing, who had a stupid grin on his face and was blabbering on about how they should all get along or some other kind of garbage. Cerise sneered at him. There was no way she would stand for some social butterfly MudWing chastising her about being friendly all the time, even if he was older and bigger than she was. Lame. She thought ferociously, turning her yellow gaze to the sniveling little SeaWing. He was the size of a three-year-old dragonet, but the torture in his eyes were much too great for him to be that young. He was probably somewhere around eight, twice Cerise’s age. Cerise continued to fix her gaze on the SeaWing, then shook her reddish purple body threateningly, shifting all her weight to her front two talons and lifting her head higher to make herself look even
WoF Fanfic: Flesh and Blood- Chapter 03The sun was an immense golden light in the sky, illuminating everything in its path. Birds chirped peacefully in nearby treetops and the sound of running water nearby was extremely soothing. The sky was the brightest blue that had ever been seen and there wasn’t a cloud in sight. However, the sky was teaming with dragonets. IceWings, MudWings, NightWings, RainWings, SandWings, SeaWings, and SkyWings alike were swarming through the sky, flying in circles around a humongous brown beast of a mountain that towered above them. The dragonets flapped down to small cave openings in the rock, disappearing one by one until only a few colorful dots remained in the soft blue sky.
“This... This is for your own good, Squid.” A green-scaled SeaWing with black spiral patterns tried to convince his young son not to be afraid, but to no avail. The jittery younger SeaWing was shaking like a leaf in the wind and he absolutely refused to leave his father’s side. Squid didn’t k
The Shadow StalksThe courtyard was bustling with activity. Classes had just let out and dragonets were allowed to roam the school for an hour before heading back to class. Beyond the carnage of rough housing and chattering dragons,a lone, odd shadow watched. Serpent-Tongue let out a wheezy, sickly wet cough before uttering his spell. "Shadows of the earth bare, hide me within my own dark lair!" He whispered. Shadows seeped forth from the ground. Shadows left their respective dragonet's sides. The Dark fragments, now seemingly alive, wrapped themselves tenderly around the young NightWing until he seemed to blend right into his hiding place. Serpent sighed and gazed down at his scrolls. "At least I can read in peace..." he mumbled as he settled down.
Five minutes later he was looking up distracted, watching his other classmates. He spotted one in particular that made him grin ear to ear: Swift-Sea. The SeaWing was kind to him, if not highly affectionate. Serpent-Tongue propped his snout on a curled claw

Flight over the mountains was always an oddly peaceful thing, the air was cold, crisp and the snow capped peaks sailed by like great waves upon a rocky ocean. He was in a place so cut off from all of the other chaos of Pyrrhia, it was almost impossible to think about the multitude of dangers that may be just around the corner. Nevertheless, Dawnstar knew that to mistake isolation for safety was incredibly naive. He and Cold Fang were not the only dragons out here in the wilderness. From Skywing patrols, associates of the so-called Talons of Peace and about every other kind of dragon that did not want to be found used the caves and crevices of the mountains as hiding places.
Of course, even if he were
